Terrell Moore was given testimonial Immunity by Assistant District Attorney Buzz Jordan under one condition- that he tells the truth. As you see by clicking on the agreement above, the Agreement was approved and signed by Joe C. Jordan, Terrell Moore, and Robert F. Clark on April 2, 1993. Rodney's Trial was in March 1995.
--- Prichard Police Detective Lebarron Smith is also present and also asks questions of Moore.
---- Moore was given this testimonial immunity under one condition- that he tells the truth. "This provision is intended to protect the State of Alabama from the effects of any material false statements and to ensure that Mr. Moore understands THAT HE HAS NO LICENSE TO LIE." (Provision 3 of the Testimonial Immunity).
--- Moore confesses that it was only he and Angel Wish Melendez at Ms. Finley's home when she was shot.
--- Moore confesses that Rene Whitecloud, Donnard "Taco" Jones and Angel Wish Melendez were the only three who knew about the crimes, that Rodney found out later during the day. This is consistent with what each of these individuals have said.
---- Moore describes the victim's home as only someone who was at the home would be able to describe.
---- In response to Buzz Jordan's questions about whether he (Moore) "received any money any lunch meat or anything at all from anybody," Moore said no. Asked if he received any moeny or any compensation whatsoever, Moore said "No."
--- Moore's confession WAS NOT HEARD BY THE JURY. He "pled the 5th" at Rodney's trial and Buzz Jordan got his Motion in Limine approved, which kept this confession and other evidence of innocence out of the trial, he said it was all hearsay.
Please read the Testimonial Immunity Agreement and the Confession. Buzz Jordan said he didn't believe Moore and NEVER will believe Moore was involved with this crime. Again, he gave more this incentive to tell the truth. You can see both Moore and Jordan in this video; one of them had no incentive to lie. This conviction at all cost mentality must end. Rodney has spent 15 years in prison because of it.
